Disney World

While we were in Florida, we surprised our kids with a day at Disney World - Magic Kingdom.  Our second morning of vacation we made them Mickey Mouse pancakes and presented them with their Mickey Mouse t-shirts.  They were stunned, there was little reaction until the news sunk in fully.  Then their was much excitement and planning.  We got up early the next morning and made the hour and a half drive into Orlando from Daytona Beach.  We opened the park at 9am and stayed the entire day, leaving at 11:30 when the last parade and fireworks wrapped up.  It was a LONG day full of magic, fun and excitement!! 

Beach Vacation 2015

In October we decided to take a family vacation to Daytona Beach, Florida.  Our resort was steps away from the beach, had three pools and a lazy river.  We enjoyed a week of sun, sand and relaxation! 

First Day of School 2015-16

The girls are always ready to head back to school and their friends.  Rylen was feeling a tad left out of all the fuss over them and their pictures.  He was attempting to photo bomb most of our efforts.

Maelyn Turns 9

Glow Stick Fun.

Our "camp-site".  Tristyn decided to share my tent after much deliberation.  The boys stayed nice and cool in the house.

This year Maelyn decided on a movie night, followed by a sleepover campout.  We pitched the tents in the backyard, went to see the Minions movie, stocked up on giant glow sticks and made S'mores.  (we have a portable S'more maker, no backyard bonfires!!)  Guess who won the nomination for supervising the campout??
