First Day of 4th Grade

Each summer passes quicker than the last. This summer we were very busy until the last two weeks before school hit. We were able to relax and get organized before the first day of school began for Tristyn. On her first morning of the 4th grade (yikes, she is growing up too fast) we headed outside after breakfast to take the obligatory first day of school pictures. With the sun in her eyes and the remark of "I hope none of my classmates see me doing this,"...she tried her best to appease us with some quick snapshots. Then everyone piled into the car and we made the 5 minute drive to school. After much hesitation, we were allowed to accompany her into her classroom, but were waved off promptly after hanging up her backpack. She is very pleased with her teacher this year and she's actually our neighbor so we'll try to keep our little family in good order this year!

I know two little people who will miss Big Sister a lot this year! Good thing Maelyn starts PreK in a few short weeks and Rylen can use his naptimes to make the time go faster.
