On a recent trip home, Rylen got to help Grandpa do some farming. He is always playing farm at home with his tractor, combine, wagons, etc. and loves watching John Deere DVDs (we're not kidding, he really does watch them). So imagine his excitement when we headed out to the field and caught a ride on the combine, tractor and then hauled wagons to the grain elevator.
First he combined with Grandpa. Mommy was able to ride along too for awhile since she is a city girl and didn't even realize how the combine operated. After combining he rode along with Daddy in the tractor and hauled two large wagons to the grain elevator. He loved every minute of it.
Asked afterwards if he was a farmer now, he replied, "No, I'm Rylen."
