Since Tristyn's last dentist appt. a few weeks ago, Maelyn has been begging for her turn for a visit to the dentist. Today was her very first time to have her teeth cleaned, checked and counted. She was so excited to have her "turn". Once she was settled in the big chair, watching a cartoon on the TV....she started to look slightly nervous. But then she opened right up to have her teeth polished. She wasn't a fan of the electronic polisher, so the hygenist switched to a regular toothbrush and she thought that was much better. Maelyn has 20 teeth, no cavities, and loved biting down on the little mirror when the dentist came to check her at the end. Everyone was so impressed with her behavior and good attitude. She even got to pick a cool prize out of the bin, it took some heavy convincing from Mom to choose only ONE, not three...some star shaped sunglasses which she wore in spite of the dark, dreary day.
