Last week while Tristyn was enjoying a birthday party, Maelyn and Troy headed out to rake up some of the leaves in our backyard. Maelyn got right to work.
First, she needs to rake the leaves up into a big pile with her little rake.
Secondly, she needs to show Daddy how to do it..."pay attention Daddy!"
Thirdly, she wades into the big pile.
Where's Maelyn? She practically dissapears in the leaves.
All done! Good thing they got most of the leaves up because winter came for us on Sunday. When we left for church in the early morning, it still felt like fall. But when we got out of church it was winter, COLD and extremely wet. Now I feel ready to listen to the Christmas songs on the radio and drink hot chocolate in the middle of the day. Still waiting on our abundance of snow! Just a slight dusting so far.
