Hello friends of our blog! I just realized today that we've been absent from the blog for a month. Christmas Day was our last post and that seemed like yesterday because our life has been back into full swing since the holidays. We got a new camera for Christmas (many thanks Dad) and it has been used quite frequently around here. Tristyn also got a new camera, so there has been a lot of fake smiling and super unattractive close-ups. The bummer is that I haven't taken the time to have my hubby show me how to upload them onto the computer to share them with you. So you'll have to be satisfied with a boring summary of our Kaeb life these days!
Tristyn is enjoying basketball again and her team is showing much improvement each and every game. Troy is helping to coach and enjoys watching the girls learn new skills.
Maelyn is now in her last semester of PreK before heading off to big school. It feels like she's leaving for college in the fall...good thing it's only half-day. Seems like a lifetime ago that Tristyn went to Kindergarten.
Rylen is now walking, no running all over the place. He loves to go outside and will bring us his shoes and sit patiently on the floor if he thinks we'll take him. We've had such a mild winter that most afternoons he can get out and swing, hit the slide and explore the backyard. When the sun is out he loves to sit at the front glass door and watch everything out there. He isn't talking much - but he did tell my sister "bye" this morning only after she left the house.
Although everyday doesn't go smoothly and just as we'd envision, we're excited to be almost one month into the year 2012! Hope your January is moving along as well.
