Several months ago Troy and I took Rylen to our local Fire Station for a tour.  The firefighters do them anytime unless they get an emergency call away from the "house".  Although we could tell Rylen was super impressed with all the trucks, gear, hoses and sounds, he didn't even crack a smile.  When our little guy is really excited he goes into a "zone".  They gave him his little fireman hat, let him put his feet in the boots, showed him the horns and even let him put up the garage door all by himself!  He had such a great time and it was also great that Troy and I were able to experience that with him without the girls in tow.  When they are so willing to give tours we may just have to go every few months!
