What If The Church Project

For the second year Troy coordinated our WITC projects.  During the rainy Saturday project day, the kids and I came down to take pictures and visit Troy at the project site.  Everyone did an excellent job at each of the locations and couldn't have been possible without all Troy's hard work, dedication and preparation.  We are so proud of him!

Visiting Dad in the rain.

Hard at work in the rainy weather.

Admiring my manly stud husband in his mud covered shirt.

During this project Troy (and several others) caught poison ivy from clearing brush.  Troy had it from his armpits to his wrists and was thankful for these gloves he was wearing that day.  The poison ivy passed from him to me and we each had it for about 3 weeks.  It was miserable but a good reminder of his servant heart towards others.  Next year will require long sleeves!!
