Maelyn turns 3! She started her day with her favorite pancake breakfast. It was slide day at swim lessons in honor of her birthday...just kidding, they had it already planned :) and she took a watery ride, which she didn't quite enjoy - I'll post a video of it. Afterwards we met Daddy at our favorite park to play and eat lunch together. The afternoon was spent playing baseball with her big sister - Tristyn hit two home runs out of the ballpark (our yard) which was exciting until we had to ask the neighbors to fetch our ball back. Then we got a visit from a Maelyn sized Dora balloon...thanks Nana, you're the best. In the evening, Maelyn blew out her candles, enjoyed her pink cake that she picked out, and opened some great presents.

Dora decided she was going to take a spin (literally) on the vaulted ceiling fan. Daddy rescued her with a broom! Thanks for dusting that fan Dora...you did it, you did it, you did it...Hooray!
Their bodies are about the same, but Dora certainly has a HUGE head.
Blowing out her 3 candles on her pink cake she picked out herself...it was really tasty. p.s. - the reptile cage in the backgroud is our newest visitor to the Kaeb house, Dot the gecko. She is really old, half blind and pretty much hides under her rock in the cage, which is perfectly fine with me. We have her for two weeks this summer until she goes back to school with Tristyn's class and I'm just hoping there is no great escape during her stay!
