The beginning of this week started with the unexpected death of one of Maelyn's beloved preschool teachers. She's made a huge investment in our daughter this year of Maelyn's education and we're so sad to say goodbye to her. She was loving, kind, funny and attentive to Maelyn each day she spent with her. She was one of the only people in Maelyn's life who she allowed to gently tease her (without a negative response) and helped open her up when she was feeling shy. She was a wonderful wife, a mother of two young children of her own, a great friend and co-worker, a willing participant in all activites and a great witness for Jesus Christ in her everyday life. In spite of sadness at the loss of this great person, we rejoice in the knowledge of where and with whom she'll spend her eternity.
Please pray for her family as it's always hardest to be left behind.
