Rylen's Dedication

Last Sunday, we had the great opportunity of dedicating Rylen to the Lord at OBC. It was a very special day for us as we, in front of our church, our family, and friends were able to give back to God the gift he has given us as parents. We praise God for the precious gift of Rylen.

Child dedication is an act of prayer that Rylen will grow to love and serve God. We know this ceremony did not impart eternal life on him as he will have to make his own decision to follow Jesus when he grows older but it our plea to our gracious God that he will call Rylen to himself at a young age. We as parents commit to raise him (and our girls) in ways that will foster his spiritual growth so that he might one day have a personal relationship with the God of this universe through his Son Jesus. Praise God!
