Chiefs in the Rain

On Saturday, we went to the Chiefs first pre-season game. We had free tickets, so we were able to eat some great food beforehand, walk around to admire the improvements on the stadium and catch a glimpse of the players warming up before kick-off. Tristyn came with us - her first Chiefs game - and really enjoyed herself, cheering the Chiefs on! Shortly after the game got under way, it started to rain. It was pouring pretty hard, so luckily we were able to move two rows behind our seats under the overhang. After that, we didn't get wet until we made the walk back to our car in the blinding rain....everything was soaked, but it was refreshing after a hot couple of days. Sadly the Chiefs lost, but made it on the scoreboard! Good thing we had free tickets and great, dry seats or it would've been a not-so-pleasant evening.
