For a belated Valentine's Day celebration, Troy and I visited Chateau Avalon this past weekend. We stayed in the Jesse James room, which looked awesome online, but I was so impressed by how great it actually was! Our room was so old and cowboy rustic....our room was actually inside a little log cabin, so cool looking. We stayed there once before a few years back and had a wonderful time but this theme room was incredible. We woke up to a snowy morning and enjoyed some peace, quiet, the newspaper and some breakfast ALONE!

I am jealous - very very much! I always wanted to go there when we lived in KC, but circumstances never allowed it!!
